How your session works

You bring the conversation. We handle the room.

No production experience needed. The studio is set up around your booking, we position the microphones and cameras for you and your guest, start the recording, and step out so you can record privately.

Choose your setup

Pick your studio, setup, and preferred time. We prepare the room around your selections and usually confirm your booking request the same day.

Arrive 15 minutes early

Sit down while we adjust the microphones and cameras for you and your guest. No equipment or technical setup required from you.

We press record. You take it from there.

Once you’re positioned and ready, we start the recording and leave the room to you.

Get your files

Your raw video files are uploaded to your Creator Lounge account, usually within 24 hours. We email you when they’re ready to download.

Choose from six setups across three rooms. The Den has two setups, The Gallery has three and The Victorian has one. Pick your room when you book, then choose a setup if the room has more than one. We prepare it before you arrive. The photos below show each setup as it books.

FAQ

Before you ask.

What do I need to bring?

No equipment is required. Bring whatever notes or material you want for your recording. If you book the optional teleprompter, you’ll need to provide your script. Otherwise, just arrive 15 minutes before your session.

Do I need to know how to operate the equipment?

No. We prepare the studio, adjust the microphones and cameras for you and your guest, and start the recording before leaving the room.

How quickly is my booking confirmed?

We usually confirm booking requests the same day. If your requested time doesn’t work, we’ll reach out to arrange another.

When will I receive my recordings?

Your raw video files are usually available in your Creator Lounge account within 24 hours. We email you when they’re ready to download.

Is editing included?

No. Your session includes recording and raw video files. Editing and finished clips are not included.

Do I need a membership?

No. The $299 + HST session does not require a membership.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes. One guest is included in the $299 + HST session.

Can I record vertically for Shorts or Reels?

Yes. A session can be framed horizontal (16:9) or vertical (9:16). You choose when you book.

Can I see the studio before I book?

Yes. Choose an available time for a free, 30-minute tour using the picker below. Your tour is confirmed instantly by email, with calendar links. Tours start every 30 minutes, Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time. Book from tomorrow, up to 30 days ahead. A tour is optional.

Where are you, and when are you open?

The Creator Lounge is at 136 Church Street in downtown Oakville. Building hours are 9 AM–9 PM, Monday to Saturday. Studio booking hours are separately 9 AM–5 PM, subject to availability and confirmation. Free, 30-minute tours start every 30 minutes, Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
